KARE 11 Not Registered? Instructions... |
|
... Bring current photo ID AND utility bill... Just saw that on the 10 o'clock news...
If I didn't know any better I might take to mean I need BOTH. I might reasonably infer that I can't register with just one or the other, or with my school ID or by having a registered neighbor vouch for me. Is KARE11 trying to influence the outcome of the election by keeping people from the polls?

1. If you have driver's license with your current address, |
|
...then that is enough.
But if you have a driver's license with an old address, then you also need to bring a utility bill with your current address.

on DU knows the voter ID rules. I'm talking about KARE11. They didn't say you should bring the utility bill IF the address on your ID was old. They said you should bring your current ID and a utlility bill.
There are thousands of voters out there with valid, current ID who don't have utility bills. If you can make them believe, even for a second, that they won't be able to vote without both, how many do you think will just decide to stay home today?
KARE11 should be ashamed.
