....just this week a federal jury convicted Richard Oslund of killing that Brinks guard outside Target in Bloomington....John Ashcroft himself declined to seek the death penalty in that case.


on edit...if you're unfamiliar, this happened in a crowded suburban Target store lot the weekend before Thanksgiving six years ago. He walked up and started shooting without so much as a 'give me the money.' just blasted the guy, father of two, I believe.

Oslund is white, with a lengthy criminal record. he was just finishng a sentence in state prison for drugs & burglary when the feds arrested him for murder involving interstate commerce....

BEGGED the State of MN NOT to release him - they were certain he would offend again. How right they were. His track record exemplifies the word 'recidivist.'
