Zogby makes MN red!
Bush 46, Kerry 45, margin of error plus/minus 4. Nader below the radar.

1. And the St. Cloud State poll the other day gave Kerry a 7-pt lead.
Plus Zogby announced last night on The Daily Show, without hesitation, that he believed Kerry would win the election.

I really don't see MN going for Bush. No way.

3. I certainly hope so. This will be a disaster
and a major PR coup for the pugs.

5. Disaster?
If Kerry wins the White House but the 'pukes scrape out a victory in Minnesota, how does that qualify as either a disaster OR a "PR coup"?

8. Minnesota voted for a Democratic candidate since 1972. I think that only
MA and DC can match this.

Thus, for the Republicans to win Minnesota this will be a "proof" that their view of life is winning. Ugh, I am getting sick just typing this.

9. I don't view it that way at all.
First, don't buy the hype. Republicans aren't close to winning this state - never have been. Pawlenty won a plurality of the vote when the Democratic majority was split between Moe & Penny. Coleslaw won when the GOP successfully politicized the Wellstone memorial and made the election a referendum on it, rather than a vote on who would be the best senator for Minnesota.

The 2000 race was only as close as it was because Naduh polled almost 7%. Take just half the Naduh vote away and give it to Gore, and Minnesota wouldn't be considered a swing state today.

It's that simple.

And besides, as I said, even if they manage to steal Minnesota - if Kerry still wins the presidency, what kind of "PR coup" could it be? "YEAH, WE REPUBLICANS RULE! WE WON MINNESOTA EVEN THOUGH OUR GUY LOST THE PRESIDENCY!" Hello?

14. Hey, I am already signed up.
I'll be canvassing on election day, getting people to vote and driving them to the polls if necessary! Why do you think I'm so confident Kerry will win Minnesota? :)

4. No, Zogby Gives Bush 46%
with most of the rest breaking for Kerry.

I actually think Jesse Ventura's endorsement will help Kerry in MN.

6. Mike Tice to introduce Bush at Target Center Saturday
http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/5058193.html

I'm sorry to post it on this thread, but I'm a newbie and can't start threads yet. Does anyone have an email address for Tice or the Vikes? I'd like to complain about this. Especially since he doesn't even know who he's going to vote for. Could someone start a thread about this please. Thanks in advance-

7. Probably part of his contract with Red McCombs and
Clear Channel. I don't know why Tice is a Republican, McCombs pays him like a Democrat. McCombs treats him like a Democrat.
