So I just got a call

urging me to vote for the Republican candidate in my state house race. The call was from North Dakota.

Wow, how can I resist?

3. did everyone else get that ugly

mass mailing from Bushco about marriage? Came in the mail Saturday in Minneapolis. It was mailed to Occupant,

with George and Laura on the lawn, happy married couple, and saying Bush supports marriage.

Then when you open it up, it says Kerry opposes marriage and goes on to bullet-list various votes.

My neighborhood has tons of gay couples and families, so this was particularly offensive to my neighbors - gay or straight.

5. I've received four, very harsh, recorded anti-Kerry phone...

calls. No "Hello," just an angry voice telling me that John Kerry will raise my taxes. It's beginning to feel like harassment.

We have also received almost daily mailings from BushCo with the same "Kerry will tax you to death!" garbage. So, I made a yard sign saying, "Bush's tax cut is like a friend giving you a TV without telling you he put it on your credit card...."

We had quite a few comments about it on Halloween. And today a crew of tree trimmers spent a fair amount of time studying it.

I was holding one saying, "Bush is a miserable failure" outside of the Target Center on Saturday, but don't think it's a wise choice for my 50/50 split neighborhood.:hi:

6. I Received A Call.

From a repug. campaigner asking me to vote for that creep Kennedy. When I told the caller that I only vote democratic, she started screaming at me! She said "if you vote for Kerry, we'll all die!" I then said, "OK, now wait a minute. Your starting to harass me and I'm going to report this call to the police!" More screaming. I hung up the phone, and called the police, then the DFL.

8. I got a call from the local * volunteer

Asked if they could count on my support - I Said absolutely not - She got very annoyed and said well fine and hung up.

11. My daughter took a call

regarding how Kerry had voted 6 times for partial birth abortion. I was so thrilled that someone talked to my teenager about this.

from a real person on the Bush campaign.

They must be desperate if they're calling Linden Hills. :-)
