Received the following email from the DFL this morning. The lines at the Medina City Hall were incredible! No place to park, hundreds of people standing out in the rain.
Dear DFL’ers,
Every election year, we get reports of misleading or erroneous calls going out to voters in an attempt to keep voters at home or to frustrate them by sending them to the wrong polling place. In case those calls go out this year, we want you to be prepared.
If you get a phone call that:
Is after 9:00 pm or before 9:00 am Uses inappropriate language Tells you a polling place that seems inaccurate Is strange or inappropriate for any reason
These calls are not made by the DFL.
Know the facts. Sometimes polling places change; check your polling place at www.vote.dfl.org. Get basic voting information there as well. If you have any questions at all, call our GOTV Hotline at 1-888-424-2004.
Thanks for your diligence and dedication to the Democratic process! With your help, we'll win on Tuesday!
Yours,
Mike Erlandson Chair, Minnesota DFL

1. Yup, I ran into some people who were called |
|
early this morning and told their Frogtown voting place was closed and they were told to go to a polling place four miles away.
They came back to where they were supposed to vote, and they were pissed.
The caller ID said 000-000-0000 but the callers said they were with the DFL.
Election Protection, who I was working with, and the DFL were alerted shortely after we heard about this. I also told a Strib reporter who stopped by the precinct and tried to get him in touch with the couple.
Repugs: Ashholes.
