NEWSFLASH-MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN AND MICHIGAN ANNEXED
AP wire
dateline November 5, 2004

Canada, in an effort to save thinking people of the United states, has annexed Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. The new Canadian province will be called Minnesconsigan. Minnesconsigan is the Ojibway word for 'land of cheesy lake iron'.

When asked to comment President Bush was quoted as saying, "what?".

This following the cecession of the West coast and northeastern states into a new nation dubbed The Separated States of America.

The European Union was quick to recognize the new nation and offered economic and military aid.

Olaf Gustafson, a resident of Bemiji Mn. offered his new Canadian government some green bean hot dish. When asked if he approved the annexation he stated, "ya youbetcha".

6. I'm So Proud!
(waving hands in front of face, trying not to cry) It's something that I've wanted for a long, long time...to get to Canada. My father's family migrated to the US through Canada. Wish he would have kept us there.

14. Yes! Problem is, there'd be two cities named Grand Rapids!
One in Michigan, the other in Minnesota.

15. Well it's about freaking TIME!
Hell, we're colder than most of (populated) Canada is. We have six months of winter. We also buy most of our drugs from Canada, too-- even the Governor, and he's a Repub!

I for one welcome our new Canadian overlords. I can't wait to sign up for Health Canada. WOW-- I can go to ANY doctor I want and don't have to worry about her/him being "in the plan", because EVERY doctor is! Same with hospitals, too!

And I can put gravy on my french fries (yes, they're still "frech" fries in Canada) and nobody will give me funny looks! Woohoo!

The only drawback is all that metric system baloney. Oh well, it's a small price to pay for the benefits of Canadian citizenship!
