Call Mark Dayton's office to ask him to filibuster re Alberto Gonzales.
I just called, and they said he'll vote against Alberto Gonzeles, but not necessarily filibuster.

Unless there is a filibuster, a man who engineered a policy of torture will be the next US Attorney General.

Please ask Senator Mark Dayton to filibuster against the appointment of Alberto Gonzales.

On a weekday...

PHONE 1-800-839-5276
(Capitol Hill Switchboard), ask to be transferred to his office, and leave a message requesting that the Senator filibuster against Alberto Gonzales.

1. After what he did last Thursday, I don't expect much.
Dayton has the spine of a squid.

2. The phone call takes 5 minutes.
Don't expect much, but let his office know your opinion of Alberto Gonzales.

back for Dayton's efforts today. I told the fellow I spoke with that we are very well networked in MN and are watching, ready to support Dayton and fight along with him. I made a particular point of asking for Dayton to filibuster.

For some reason I think they are happily surprised at their constituents involvement, that they are seeing more than they expected.

I think a lot of us are waking up to our responsibilities - I know I am.
