Still diverting our resources

Regarding the Jan. 20 letter which asks, "What's to say that Saddam wouldn't pay a family to hijack a plane?"

What's to say that Osama bin Laden won't arrange another hijacking?

Though if Osama can get his hands on a nuclear bomb, he will use that against us the next time.

We probably would have captured Bin Laden by now if George W. Bush hadn't diverted our resources to Iraq.

Worst-case scenario

Many people are finding great joy and pleasure in the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

What this narrow-minded ideology forgets to recognize is that WMD have a much broader definition than just a nuclear, biological or chemical classification.

It is a fact that Saddam Hussein had given money to families of suicide bombers for their willingness to employ terror by blowing themselves up. The destruction and terror inflicted on America on 9/11 was done by airplanes.

What's to say that Saddam wouldn't pay a family to hijack a plane for the same purpose?

5. Sure they're redefining WMD...

the redefined the reasons for going to this faux war.

Hell, they've redefined liberty and freedom and most of the American lexicon as we know it. It is possible to have a conversation with these headcases, using the same exact words, but you be referring to peace and they think you're all for blowing up another country.

"I think freedom is the core of our democracy."

"Yes, let's blow up Iran."
