I haven't been to a movie in ages, which is ironic, considering that I used to write Movies for Democrats every week.

The bus strike really cut into my movie viewing, since I refuse to drive to Uptown, downtown, or the U.

Either Friday or Saturday would work for me.

20. I'm gonna get a reputation

I thought until the last that I was going to make it, but I was forced by the weather to strain my back planting viburnums on Saturday, so I was shoveling compost and planting stuff until I could hardly move (I'm no spring chicken!), and decided when I realized that I was still filthy and sore at 7:00 p.m. that I wasn't going to make it.

I'll buy a round at the next Friday or whenever gathering!
