Help! We need yard signs!
Just found out that Dayton/Montgomery County Dem HQ will NOT fund yard signs for our area (they're using the $$ to "get out the vote"???).

Does anyone know of a union printer in this area who can help?

Any ideas at all???

We tried Kerry Gear; they won't sell out of their warehouse, which means they won't sell us a large quantity of signs.

I have this horrible vision of lots of signs for BC and none for our good guys.

Help, help, pulleeze!

:-(

1. We got ours from demstore.com
We ordered 1000 signs. It came to $2017.00. We are going to do a "suggested donation" of $5 so that they not only pay for themselves but also the next thousand. In the end we will be left with some seed money to carry on with after the elections.

Good luck.

Julie

3. Here's a list of printers in the GCIU
It's an Ohio list, but I see that there are some Dayton listings, and also some Cincinnati listings:

Do you know what Hamilton County/Cincinnati is doing? Is the Dem party down there having to find an alternate supplier, too?

I suppose GOTV is important, but you're right -- the appearance is relevant. I noticed my 'neighbor' north on Ackerman has lost another Kerry sign -- yesterday, when I went to work, there was just a metal frame standing in his yard. That must be at least the second sign he's lost.
