Sort of?!? How's that for a lame answer?

There aren't any paid staffers in Ohio yet, but the HQ in Columbus is still being run by a small group of volunteers. There are several former staffers who are Ohio residents and are helping until they are re-assigned. I've heard various dates for staffers to return, but definitely before the convention.

i'm in columbus too. not as much time on my hands, as final exams start for me next week (the law school's on semesters, not quarters like the rest of osu), but worked a little for the dean campaign before he imploded. i'll support kerry on election day b/c he's the anti-bush, but if dean wasn't going to be the pres (not likely after he said he would break up the media monopolies), then edwards was my choice...got to hear him when we (osu law school dems) hosted him for a campaign stop, and got to have coffee with edwards's wife...they're the real deal. genuine people, who care about the country, and able to convey that without being off-putting. to steal a line from one of my professors, if kerry runs a perfect campaign, he can beat bush. edwards could have run a decent campaign and won. sigh. anyway, since we're going to be the "new florida" we need to be sure we have our proverbial shit tight between now and november. a little disconcerting that the kerry campaign isn't already locked and ready to rumble here in columbus, or ohio for that matter. especially with our buddy wally o'dell and diebold in the neighborhood. the stakes are too important to fark around with this one...

anybody out there want to admit to working in the legal profession? :-)
