Yellow Ribbons are Blanketing Cincinnati.
Have any other Cincy-folk noticed this? The Village of Glendale is covered in yellow ribbons for Matt.

They don't bother me one bit; in fact, it's nice to see someone in this city paying attention to this goddamned bullshit war.

Come home soon, Matt Maupin. Come home. :-(

2. I've seen them... but way before that Matt Maupin thing
there are a bunch of them in Anderson Township where I live.

3. I haven't, save on the news.
But I know what they're about. It's so disheartening, the poor soul. Lost in a war of lies.

4. So, do the folks who are putting up the ribbons
understand that, according to the Cinci Enquirer, Matt is a hostage and not a POW?

5. Correct.
It is a technical thing. One can only be a POW if taken by military soldiers. The insurgents are part of no military, therefore, he cannot technically be a POW. The insurgents have stated that they will treat him as one, but that does not legally make him so.

6. Word Games. Nothing but word games.
It's pathetic, honestly. Don't forget that Chimpy Sez the War is Over!! See the photo below.

Rest in Peace, Matt Maupin. I doubt your nation still cares much about your fate. :-(

7. I've not heard of his demise.
I thought he was still alive. I rather hope that we'll see him again.
