Could Kennedy's timing be any worse?
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 12:53 PM by AngryOldDem
This is from Friday's DDN -- Ted and Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are paying a visit to WPAFB on Monday, looking to score some business for Hanscom AFB. Officials are downplaying the significance of the visit, but the DDN makes it clear that WPAFB has what Hanscom wants. If so, this could possibly complicate things for John Kerry around here, depending on how Mike Turner, et. al., respond after tomorrow.

1. Hanscom is probably going to be on the next BRAC hitlist.
So I wouldnt be too worried.

The fact that it was both Kennedy and a GOPer means the political aspect is sort of de-fused.
