Feeling really good about Ohio.
Drove around NE end of Cincinnati. I have NEVER seen so many signs supporting a Democratic candidate. Kerry Edwards signs are everywhere. The polls are beginning to show in our favor. shrub is not going to win Ohio.

1. I hope you're right - if we can hold the SW corner, we win.
And if we win Ohio, we win it all.

2. why are the Ohio polls so close?
Edited on Tue Oct-12-04 12:57 AM by USA_1
No state in the Union lost more jobs thanks to Bush's economic stupidity than has Ohio. You would think that it would easily go Democratic in this election. The Kerry-Edwards ticket should have absolutely no trouble winning the state.

So why the closeness???

4. Ohio Democratic Party has been so enemic
We've had a decade in the doldrums. Maybe this year will be the jolt that gets them up and running for 2006. Given what they've done to Ohio and the generally poor quality of Republican candidates (Ken Blackwell?), I think we have a huge opportunity to take back the Governor's Office and perhaps even a couple others.

We can make a serious play for the statewide offices. Now we need good candidates.

6. Thousands of new activists...
Right after we get done kicking George W. Bush's skinny white ass back to Texas, I'm going to be appropriately grateful to him that he managed to unite the Democratic Party like never before in my lifetime.

BTW, I went online today and booked reservations at the Comfort Inn in Alexandria (Duke Street) for the Inaugeration. Decent rate and I believe they include breakfast. If anybody else is so inclined, make reservations and I'll meet you there!
