1. Lawsuit for which thing? |
|
They'd won the argument over provisional ballots, but he said he was filing an appeal. Not surprising -- figured he would. I really wonder if he's not scared, he seems to be getting desperate. Wonder if they promised him something nice -- like to hand him the statehouse -- if he could decisively deliver Bush* Ohio this year?
Looks like the GOP is going to have to get some dirt under its fingernails to influence this one, and I don't think they like doing it. Those kinds of efforts generally get somebody in trouble, and if there's anything Ohio Republicans hate, it's having to own up to anything they've done wrong.
So what are they suing Blackwell over?

3. Okay -- looks like more of the same. |

It's the one about provisional ballots. I wasn't sure if he'd found some new way to try to disenfranchise poor inner-city voters, or if this was more of the same disenfranchisement. Sometimes, I could almost wish being a Republican was physically painful -- the whole bunch of them in Ohio deserve it, anymore.
