Saturday night dozens of pairs of flip-flops were hung over Kerry yard signs by the republicans; as they were hung, the young dems followed them around and removed them. Here is a story about "Operation Night Watch".


TheTuscarawas County Young Democrats are turning the table on those stealing and vandalizing Democratic yard signs.
Young Democrats Political Director Michael Clarke has announced an overnight yard sign lookout program called “Operation Night Watch.” Young Democrats will be hitting the streets during the midnight hours and immediately replacing signs that are stolen or vandalized. Each time a yard sign is replaced, contributors will give money dedicated to electing Democrats.
According to Clarke, dozens of yard signs are stolen or vandalized each week, mostly on weekend nights.
“Vandalizing yard signs is already counter productive, all it does is fire up the party base and makes them work harder,” said Clarke.

5. People have to file a police report first

The police then have to investigate a crime where the culprits have long disappeared. If our night watch team sees something happening, trust me, the cops will be called. Removing the flip-flops was much more fun for the guys than reporting what wasn't really vandalism because the signs weren't damaged.
