1. In 2000 Gore received 18,749 votes and
Shrub received 47,235.

5. We had to turn volunteers
away from the Mason HQ yesterday because we had so many! I think Bush's visit to Wilm shows he is getting worried about us! I'm challenging in the polls if we still have challengers (really just defending our voters) I'll let you know if there is any funny business!

8. Sorry, I forgot the link -- here it is:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/vote2000/cbc/ohcbc.htm

Very interesting results for each county in Ohio in the 2000 election.

I grew up in Lebanon, and I'm a Democrat. Yup, I'm the one.

6. I've never eaten at the Ice Cream Parlor.
And I guess I never will. The only time I was ever even in the place was when Bob Dole visited there in 1996.

The rally downtown was only a few blocks from my house and I had never seen a presidential candidate before (I was 13 at the time)- that's the only reason I was at a Republican rally.

11. Hey whatever happens, we all need to exchange emails
because I am moving to Mason soon (most likely) and I want to get involved in local politics. Meeting like minded people, especially when the rest are kool-aid drinkers, is the only thing that will save my sanity. That and DU!!

13. I have lived in Mason for the last...
16 years. It has been tough with all of the repugs but things are looking up.

The down side to Warren County and especially Mason and Lebanon is there are no Democrats in public office, for that matter there are no elected Democrats in the entire county, including township, municipal or county.

The one good thing about Mason is the school system. One of the better ones in the State.

Do you know anything about this Jack Chrisman that is a write in for County Commissioner? I don't know anything about the repub. I probably won't vote for either.
