OHIO weather is gonna be shitty tomorrow, here's how we can help
at the polls:

1. Go to your local Dollar store, buy umbrellas/poncho's etc.

2. If you've got lightweight plastic lawn chairs, take 'em. (also take something to wipe them off if it's raining hard.

3. Thermos' with coffee, hot chocolate, and insulated paper cups.

4. Any outdoor supply store will have handwarmers...go get them and pass them out to the people in line.

5. Nothing inspires people more than a positive attitude. Walk the lines if you can. Encourage people to stick it out, their voice must be heard.

It's "hard work" but to get rid of the Chimp, we need everyone to get to the polls, and we need them to stay long enough to vote.

Add your ideas, make it happen. 1 more day to freedom.

2. where is the BEST place to donate to help with this
for people NOT in Ohio who want to help?

I.e., where can we donate and make sure the money gets used for this tomorrow -- and not for a future campaign.

6. I think you should call MoveOn PAC.
They have Drivers, and runners, and this may be right up their alley.

(btw – this is a thread started by a freep worried that Bush is going to lose_
Are we going to win?(vanity)

I am worried. Ok, go ahead and slam me for being worried, but what I really want is lots of reassurance! So, positive posts on why you think BUSH will win tomorrow, please.

Dems don't stand in the rain to vote, especially for a candidate that they are not excited about. Republicans would go to the polls during a tornado or tsunami. Pray for rain in swing states--it looks like we just might get some rain in some important places.

Reason one: Marriage Amendments in Ohio, Michigan will bring social conservatives to the polls-also Amish vote in PA and OH that doesn't get polled (no phones)

Reason two: Crappy weather in OH, MI, PA will supress wimpy urban Dem voters

Reason three: 9/11 effect in Jersey, and Hawaii (w/Pearl Harbor connection)

Reason Four: Upper Midwest states (WI, IA, MN) have been moving rightward for the last decade

7. Ohioans will sit through blizzards and tornados to watch the Bucks
play, getting a little wet won't make a diff. More importantly though is to encourage them to STAY long enough to vote!

9. I heard Neil Boortz on the radio/
I didn't have my Sirius adapter in the car at the time....

He was praying for rain in Ohio......said Dem's are weak followers and won't come out in the rain.

5. aren't most polling places near your home? then why would
rain scare people away, I wonder. As for the freeps saying rain would hurt the Dem urban vote, the city voting stations should be extra close to their homes, don't even need any car in many circumstances, I believe. That's my two cents anyway.
