Cleveland Picks Intersections for Red-light Cameras

Cleveland City Council has approved a list of 28 intersections throughout the city where cameras will catch drivers who run red lights or speed. The city will begin installing the cameras in about two weeks, but they won't be operational until august. There are no downtown locations on the list, which is shown below:

-Shaker Boulevard at Shaker Square
-Chester Avenue at Euclid Avenue
-West Boulevard at North Marginal Road
-Shaker Boulevard at East 116th Street
-West Boulevard at I-90 ramp
-Chester Avenue at East 71st Street
-East 55th Street at Carnegie Avenue
-East 131st Street at Harvard Avenue
-Carnegie Avenue at East 30th Street
-Cedar Avenue at Murray Hill Road
-Grayton Road at I-480 ramp
-Euclid Avenue at Mayfield Road
-Warren Road at I-90 ramp
-Prospect Avenue at East 40th Street
-East 116th Street at Union Avenue
-West 117th Street at I-90 ramp
-Pearl Road at Biddulph Road
-Carnegie Avenue at East 100th Street
-Carnegie Avenue at Martin Luther King Junior Drive
-Memphis Avenue at Fulton Road
-Lakeshore Boulevard at East 159th Street
-Saint Clair Avenue at London Road
-Clifton Boulevard between West 110th Street and West 104th Street
-Chester Avenue between East 55th Street and East 40th Street
-Woodland Avenue between East 66th Street and East 71st Street
-West Boulevard between I-90 ramp and Madison Avenue
-Broadway between Harvard Avenue and Miles Avenue
-Lee Road between Tarkington Avenue and I-480 ramp

ters,Guess someone's keeping 2 eyes on that place.Just kidding.The one on I-90 and W. 117th would be closest to there.

2. LOL- but kidding aside
these won't just be normal redlight cameras...I guarantee you these will have an override where they can be used as full function surveillance cams w/facial recognition, zoom , and they put them in the poorest or most strategic locations.

3. Wow that is a wide spread net they are tossing out
I'm going to print it out and keep it handy when I head to C-Town.

I thought I remembered "Her Janeness" saying that only a few downtown intersections would be targeted.
