Ohio for Kerry Field Offices!
I just received this email message from the OHIO Kerry Campaign; it lists all the field offices and contacts. Just in case you didn't receive it, it's time for us to become activists!!

Here's the letter:

It's time for Ohio for Kerry volunteers to take action. Kerry field organizers have arrived in Ohio, and are fanning out all across the state. As a John Kerry volunteer, you can give your time and energy to tell Ohioans about John Kerry's plan to create jobs, keep America safe and secure, and provide a fiscally responsible plan for health care.

It's time to use your leadership and organizational skills to let even more people know about John Kerry. It's time to reach out to Democrats who supported other candidates and ask for their ideas and support.

It is not too early to begin working. Below is a list of office contacts in Ohio where there are Kerry field organizers TODAY. More staff will arrive soon, but please call the office closest to you to find out how you can help. You can also visit www.johnkerry.com/states/oh for updated information on visits to the state, new offices and upcoming events.

John Kerry's campaign is here in Ohio. It's time to get to work. Call your local office and help elect John Kerry.

Contact your local field organizer today!

3. Damn Straight, Jen.
I've phoned the office and sent him an email message. And of course I let him know I'm a proud member of the Democratic Underground -- I ordered a DU shirt and will wear it to the campaign office. I'm ready to go to work to get those crooks out of our White House. Like mother, like daughter; a couple of activists, us.

BTW, does anyone know anything about Cedric Collins?

4. The Goods on Cedric Collins!
Edited on Wed Jun-02-04 07:58 PM by VolcanoJen
Never mind... still researching, will update!

On second edit... nothing really on the web about Mr. Collins. It's likely he's a fresh college grad, hungry and passionate. Let's all support him and his efforts in Ohio!!!

5. Let me know about the Dayton Effort!!!
Dayton forever remains my hometown, and I retain the best of my political memories from that sweet little city.

I'll help out... make some phone calls and what-not... keep me up-to-date! All SW Buckeyes Unite!

7. I found out he worked for Ted Strickland
As an intern project at Wittenberg. At least, I think it's him -- I thought it would be a safe assumption if a Cedric Collins was a poli-sci major at Wittenberg, and interned with Strickland in '04, this is the same guy. I'm guessing Strickland's office could be a tough start for a greenhorn -- I grew up in Strickland's district and still haven't figured out how he's managed to get where he is with a "D" in front of his name.

10. The nearest one is an hour away.
Thats hard to work into my routine. You have two hours of driving and then however much time I do which will probably be 3 or 4 .

So put them together and that blows a whole day. Thats too much.

Why doesnt Kerry have a office in E Liverpool? Theres lots of small towns in this area that would equate to thousands of votes, help and donations. This area is strong Democrat . Cmon John ! You wanna win you need to come to us
