Any DU'ers from the Zanesville area want to go to the sept 24 protest?
I am trying to arrange for one of the busses from Columbus to pick us up.

Looks like the cost for the ride will be $60 round trip. Here is the info from the UCPJ website:

Ohio Union, Ohio State University 12:15 a.m., September 24 Ohio Union, Ohio State University 4:00 a.m., September 25 47 people per bus

Comments: Cost of round trip ticket $60, payable to the Community Organizing Center
><501(c)3>, send to 1192 1/2 Neil Avenue, 43201. attn: Yoshie Furuhashi. Sign up soon, early signups will effect the number of buses we reserve.

I have just emailed the contact above. I'll keep y'all apprised of developments. I suggested the park and ride across from Denny's as a pick up spot.

1. If you are doing that, see if they will make a stop in Licking County

2. I haven't heard back from them yet
But I doubt if they want to make ANY stops - so I guess the question becomes, how may people wanting to be picked up in a certain spot would it take for it to be worth it to them.

Are you definitely going to go? I would drive to Licking if that is where we can get the most people together. It would save me 25 miles each way - and I wouldn't have to try to find somewhere to park in the university area.

I would suggest 13 and 70 since there is a park and ride there also. Not so sure about leaving a car at the flying J for that long.

I am going to try to call tonight.

Wish me luck.

3. I cannot honestly say I will be able to go, so just plan for the best way
for you....we just started a new business and I do not know if we can get away (actually, it will start next Wednesday)

Might be the worst time to take off even for a day, even for the importance of it.
