Columbus - ...

The attorney and five-time "Jeopardy" champion was elected county treasurer in 2002 to fill an unexpired term. In 2004, he won re-election with 60 percent of the vote.

The July issue of American City and County Magazine named Cordray its County Leader of the Year. Among his accomplishments cited were record-setting tax collections and a portfolio that out-performed the market by 154 percent...

He faces an expected primary challenge from Montgomery County Treasurer Hugh Quill.

The winner of the Democratic primary is expected to face Ohio Treasurer Jennette Bradley, the only Republican who has announced plans to run for the job.

He won with 64% percent of the vote. I believe the only area he didn't win was the Dublin area.
