Is it just my voting precinct, or, does anyone else here in Ohio vote by filling in a bubble with a pencil? I have been voting since I turned 18 in February 2003 and have used nothing other than a paper ballot.
Are these machines used only in larger, metropolitan areas (I'm in rural Erie County)?

4. About 5 Ohio counties use electronic voting machines |
|
About a dozen counties use optical-scan paper ballots. The other seventy or so counties use the traditional "lever" machines (Shoup) that tally votes on counting wheels.
