Pittsburgh's Mini-Rush getting gastric bypass surgery

Heard today that frothing at the mouth right wingnut Fred Honsberger will be undergoing the surgery and will be off KDKA radio for a few weeks.

Politics aside, I'm glad he's doing this as he's become quite unhealthily large in recent years. You'd think battling with a problem like that would make someone a bit more sensitive to other people's feelings but Fred's still a bonehead on most issues.

At least Pittsburgh radio listener's ears will get a break for a while.

It is not even funny. You got your local, national, and cable. And we have one crummy radio station, and it has to be streamed.......
