I always got the feeling he was more democrat than republican. When he had his webshow running where he just sits and talks with a guest and one of the other employees of his educational forum, I sent in an email that was read on the air that started off with something about "the fiasco in Florida." The employee was the one monitoring incoming emails, and he made some smarmy remark about, "someone not being over it." Randi gave him a bit of a look for that. :)
