Bush* taped phone messages to registered republicans in PA

asking them to vote for Specter are overdone. My brother who is registered republican is sick of the calls and said he would change his registration to Democrat. He is now a Kerry fan because of Kerry's war record and Bush*'s screwups of the war, VA and jobs. His wife will vote for Kerry as well. That's two more folks. Rove keeps over-reaching and keeps screwing up.

1. Hell, I switched to Democrat last summer and still get those calls

and tons of junk mail.

My family is definitely voting for Kerry, even my moderate Republican Dad. If Toomey wins tomorrow, I can get them to vote for Hoeffel too. If Specter wins it will be a tougher sell but we'll see.

2. At work I call customers back to verify orders...

and a LARGE amount of republicans are griping to me saying, "I am so glad it is you. I thought it was another Bush ad."

They're all saying they are so sick of the calls. Good for them. :)

3. desperate Republicans

I got an elaborate mailing last month, offering to welcome me back to the Republican Party. I haven't been a Republican since I registered Democratic to vote for Jesse Jackson in the primary the first time he ran for president, which I think was 1988. You'd think they'd give up on me by now.

5. Update: three more letters to the editor of the local paper say

republicans violating "spirit of do not call list". Shuster, Santorum and Bush*'s voices on the recorded calls. I hope we don't use the phone to contact Dem voters like that, it just turns off some people.
