Hopefully his career as a politician is overwith and he can continue to live off of Daddy's money since he's never made over 10k a year since graduating from law school (From Dickenson which a good law school but part of the Penn State system - so he probably was able to get in through Dad's influence). Oh Daddy is legendary Penn State Unversity's football coach Joe Paterno.

WASHINGTON - Republican Scott Paterno loaned his campaign another $100,000 at the end of September as he continued to trail U.S. Rep. Tim Holden in polls and raising money.
But Paterno took heart in a new poll that showed support for Holden slipped in the last six weeks.
Paterno, the GOP nominee in the 17th Congressional District, hopes to narrow the gap when his first television ads begin airing Tuesday, but campaign strategists and political experts said he has little time and cash to make up enough ground.
Paterno, a Derry Twp. attorney, raised just over $200,000 between July 1 and Sept. 30 and reported having $241,086 on-hand. He has loaned his campaign $351,000 so far.
Scott Paterno won that a primary that had 6 candidates. He wasn't even living in the 17th district until just before he opted to run, but some idiot repuke thought if they had a Paterno on the ticket that some reason voters in PA-17 would become brain dead and automatically vote for this idiot. I'm proud to say my family all lives in that district and none of them are voting for Scott. Heck, they're registered republicans and they wouldn't even vote for him in the Primaries. It looks like this district, which is republican leaning, is safe for Democrat Tim Holden again!!
