All the posts about the Philly rally reminded me to send my thanks to all those in the Eastern Penn area. I was just there on business, and it was fantastic! Kerry/Edwards signs and stickers were everywhere, people were energized and pissed at Shrub- and not a single solitary widdle Shrub sticker in sight! You guys rock!

You're welcome. This isn't Massachusetts, but were good! We still have some fascist factions in Northeast Philly (i.e. Perzel/Brown) to take care of in the part I'm from. John Perzel will win in a landslide, but I hope Kerry and Schwartz pull through.

I lived there for only one month, and it's not as nice as it looks, IMO. I had my bike stolen from my front yard there.

I live in Frankford near the transportation center, and believe me, I feel safer here than in those Rethug strongholds.

BTW, were you at the Kerry rally Monday? I was, and sadly, couldn't see Clinton nor Kerry over the 6 footers standing in front of me.

Wild horses couldn't have kept me away. It was even better than I had hoped for and I was hoping for a lot.

I think it scared the Repukes too. Based on the street closings they announced Mon. morning which had to be changed significantly to accommodate the crowd, they never saw it coming.:evilgrin:

On page 1 of today's Metro they're trying to say vote fraud by dems in Philly, this after they got caught trying to move polling places in minority neighborhoods after the postcards with the addresses had already been mailed.
