ACT, ACORN, PA. Democrats and AFL-CIO all visited my house today
The get out the vote effort seems well organized in Eastern PA. This afternoon, my house was visited by a team from ACT (America Coming Together) and then a person from ACORN to make sure I knew where to vote, etc. Then the PA. Democratic Party dropped off flyers. Then the AFL-CIO drove by with a school bus converted into a sound truck telling everyone to vote. All in one 4 hour period.

1. Amherst College Students in PA.
We also had a group of volunteer college students in PA going door to door from Amherst College in Massaschusetts. There is also a caravan of volunteers coming to eastern PA for Election Day from Virginia.

2. and also
A listmate of mine in Delaware says a friend of hers is part of a contingent from Norway visiting PA to get out the vote.

I haven't seen anybody at my Cumberland County house this year, though, except Kerry meetup people door-knocking and my state rep candidate trying to do the whole district door to door. And, of course, we've lit dropped the 87th for my state rep candidate.

I have been receiving massive quantities of Republican robocalls and snailmail. I don't know why, but I'm glad they're wasting their money.

3. Busloads from Out-of-State Working for Kerry in PA.
We've had bus loads of activists from Connecticut and New York City come into PA. to help campaign for Kerry. They brought an incredible level of energy that make us locals look bad. We had college students from New Hampshire and many other volunteers drive up from D.C. and Massachusetts. We also had an Italian TV news crew covering the work of these people.
