Primary Day Races OTHER THAN Specter/Toomey
With all the attention that's been focused on the Specter/Toomey race, it's been easy to forget that there are other Primary Day decisions.

1. Greenwood is a safe bet for renomination
Lingenfelter is a perenial candidate, and his primary opponent hasn't raised enough money get to get over his high name identification, so he will probably win.

5. How about on the Democratic side?
I'm hoping it'll be Allyson Schwartz.

6. They have both raised a ton of money
But I would give the edge to Torsella. Although a majority of the voters are in Montgomery County, the majority of the Democratic voters in Philadelphia.

The district was designed to match a Philadelphia Democrat with a Monco Republican, but that did not work last time as Bob Borski did not run for reelection.

4. District 9 will be Shuster
That's my district now thanks to stupid Republican gerrymandering. Shuster's father was a god around here and some delusional voters think they are the same person.

8. at 9:55 Delgrosso has lead
Edited on Tue Apr-27-04 08:57 PM by Momof1
3400 Delgrosso
2900 Shuster

I have been holding my breath and searching for numbers for awhile now. If this doesn't show that the Republicans are sick of the dirty tricks....

I'm dancing in the streets right now.... YESSSS!

on edit:

The numbers come from WJAC Channel 6, I couldn't find the numbers on the internet.

13. I hate Shuster with a passion. I use to live in the district
but recently moved. I hate Shuster & his father. I blame Shister Sr. for the mess in State College. The iron pyrite that was exposed on Skytop mountain. If it wasn't for his pushing the I-99 bill through, there would of been more enviromental tests done, before the actually started the construction.

7. Rep. Bill DeWeese
phoned his constituents yesterday (one of those automatic phone calls) and asked us to vote for David Barasch (D) for Attorney General. I did, and I know my brother and his wife did.

I also voted for Joe Hoeffel, Rep. Murtha, and State Rep. DeWeese.

9. Link for results
http://www.nbc10.com/politics/3242585/detail.html

That is for democratic congressional results. You can get from that page to find republican, AG, and state senate results.

Corbett and Eisenhower are leading for AG.
Drobac won in PA-4.
Schrader and Greenwood won in PA-8.
DelGrosso is narrowly leading Shuster.
Brown narrowly leads Taubenberger and Bard is far behind.
Torsella leads Schwartz but it is still too close to call.
Dent and Driscoll won in PA-15.
Paterno narrowly leads the field in PA-17.

14. Interesting?
Yes, it is. Toomey went negative from the get go. And Shuster had the spy thing.

Are the republicans revolting?

Want to make a bet that * will start visiting this area soon?

15. Hell Bush will be camping out in PA and Ohio til November
I really hope the Toomey wing stays home in November. Especially since Bush didn't support their boy.

16. I know * has been here alot,
but I haven't seen him in this area. He's been in Philly & Pittsburg, but not really around here.

I am sure that he will read that Spector totals will transfer to him in November.

But I don't really believe that arguement. If Spector would of lost today, we would of lost a lot of funding. I just wish November would get here all ready.

He's come to the suburbs around Harrisburg a lot. Last week in Hershey, last month at Central Dauphin High School.
