Dallas LWV: SATURDAY - Community Dialog on Homeland Security
Hmmm..... If I'm feeling ambitious I may go to see what they have to say.

LWV-Dallas has been selected along with nine other local Leagues in the nation to host a Community Dialogue on Homeland Security and Civil Liberties. Citizen’s perspectives are needed for a report to be compiled in time for Congress to use during their deliberations on the sunset provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act. Please come!!!

The confidential community dialogue will be on Saturday, June 4 at the Dallas Public Library Auditorium, 1515 Young Street from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Directions to the library are on the web at http://dallaslibrary.org/directions.htm. We would like to have a broad range of the community in terms of racial and religious diversity, political views, education, and socio-economic levels to participate in this dialogue.

Because of space considerations, we will have to limit the number of participants to 100. There is no cost to participate, and lunch is provided. If you would like to participate, please fill out the form below and send it to LWV-Dallas, 2720 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 812, Dallas, TX 75207, or email the information to lwvdallas@sbcglobal.net. Call Susybelle Gosslee at 214-349-0269 or cell 214-732-8610 for more information.
