2. frankly, I'm afraid it just makes her look more attractive,
in comparison.

but hopefully it will get her to spend some $$$ up front to prove it.

8. 1. It pisses her off
It tells her she dilly-dallied too long. Now KBH can't come right out and announce she's running right on OTG's (One Tough Grandma)heels without looking desperate.

And yet, the longer she continues to stall the more time the MSM isn't talking about her.

2. It makes Comptroller an open seat, and some good Democrat ought to be prepared to announce a run for that office right quick. Is it beneath the likes of John Sharp? Jim Turner? Martin Frost? Is there some Senator or Representative who's ready to step up and make he jump?

7. Yayyy!!!
Finally the Texas Repugs will have to waste their money tearing each other apart.

Personally I thought she might run for Lite Guv against Dewhurst, but Carol-McClellan-Keeton-Rylander-Strayhorn genuinely hates Rick Perry, so maybe it's personal.

9. The two parties
cannot beat Kinky.

It's Friedman's to lose. Texas politics has become such a joke that the time has come for this state's most famous 'Jewboy.'

He's going to be at a book-signing in Jefferson next week. I'm thinking about driving all the way over there to see him.

10. Kinky doesn't have a prayer
He'll get 10, maybe 15% of the vote (that's provided he even makes it onto the ballot; he needs something like 12,000 signatures from people who can't have voted in either primary and he has a short amount of time after the primaries next spring to get them).

That's only enough to influence the eventual victor, a la Ross Perot.

Rick Perry's going to get his hide torn off between now and next May. And he's going to have to spend millions that would otherwise be held for the fall 2006 campaign.
