Kinky friedman is a joke. Lets laugh at him then move on. |
|
The Democratic party should know better when a distraction is thrown in their face.
Kinky is just that.

1. Right! Chris Bell is the man! |
|
Mr. Bell is a real candidate for Governor and deserves our support. I have been on board with Chris for quite a while now. Texas deserves him, let's face it KBH and Goodhair are in the same league as the Kinkster, and Strayhorn, well, let's just say she raised Snotty McClellan...

2. The last time Texas laughed at a joke he became Governor then moved |

to the White House. Don't take him too lightly, Stop him before he uses Texas as a launching pad to national fame

3. The best way to hear the laughter die is to |

vote in the primary next May. EITHER ONE. You can even encourage your Republicans "friends" to do this.
Kink needs nearly 50,000 signatures of registered voters who DID NOT VOTE in next spring's party primary elections, and he can't start collecting them until after the voting.
The primaries for both parties will be huge (relatively speaking) due to all the attention the GOP gubernatorial contest will draw.
Again: voting in a primary means you're not eligible to sign a Kinky petition. I recognize that this is preaching to the choir in this forum, but GOTV efforts need to be focused on this.
Encourage primary voting next May. Simple as that.B-)

I'm not looking forward to a governor's race where the biggest question is which Repub will win the primary.
:-(
EDIT: Sorry to be negative. Just not feeling very good about the Dem party's chances in Texas after seeing what happened the last couple elections.

5. Yes, but will he steal votes from the repuke candidate. |
|
THAT is what I want to see happen! And people aren't that torked up about Goodhair, even repukes. Still, I want Goodhair to win the repuke primary. I want HIM to be the opponent. Hee hee.

That is too high a price to pay even to get Ann back.

I keep hearing how great he is. He's a WRITER, not a politician. And anyone who calls ANY Bush a "friend of his" is not anyone I want near our governor's mansion.
I'm going to work for John Sharp if he runs again. The guy is really smart, started the short-lived Texas Tomorrow Fund, and really knows his stuff. I saw him speak in Hunt County a few months ago, and was completely impressed. Chris Bell is my 2nd choice if John doesn't run. But he sounded VERY much like he was going to.
