I think the thing that impressed me the most, was during the Q&A someone asked how many of the Travis Co. delegates to the state convention were newbies and a majority of the room raised their hands. I'm one of those first timers. I hope that means our party will be re-energized. Of course some others pointed out that maybe the seasoned delegates didn't bother to come since they knew the ropes. Many of the people around me had been delegates before though. I just sense excitement in the fight.
We're excited about hearing and seeing John Edwards at the convention. We did learn a lot about what to expect and how some things are changing. We got a chance to meet people in our districts running for national delegates. Let the campaigns begin!
