Austin delegates to State convention...
don't forget there's a delegation meeting tomorrow (6/5) morning. 10:30am at King-Seabrook Chapel at Huston-Tillotson College. Here's the link at the Travis County Dems page:

See ya there.

5. We had a very good turnout
I think the thing that impressed me the most, was during the Q&A someone asked how many of the Travis Co. delegates to the state convention were newbies and a majority of the room raised their hands. I'm one of those first timers. I hope that means our party will be re-energized. Of course some others pointed out that maybe the seasoned delegates didn't bother to come since they knew the ropes. Many of the people around me had been delegates before though. I just sense excitement in the fight.

We're excited about hearing and seeing John Edwards at the convention. We did learn a lot about what to expect and how some things are changing. We got a chance to meet people in our districts running for national delegates. Let the campaigns begin!
