My email to our Senators re: their vote on Rove Amendment.

I *really* wanted to write, "Go fuck yourselves, you miserable partisan hack excuses for legislators," but I decided that would be undignified. :7

Dear Senator,
Re: Reid Amendment No. 1222, which was to prohibit Federal employees who disclose classified information to persons not authorized to receive such information from holding a security clearance.

Sounds like a good amendment if you ask me! Federal employees who cannot protect our country's secrets should not have a security clearance! Your NAY vote on this amendment clearly indicates your willingness to place party over country in order to protect Karl Rove.

Congratulations. You stand revealed as just another partisan politician instead of a patriotic public servant.

3. actually kay bay's vote is good for us

we can throw it in her face again & again & again during campaign season. "kay bay's soft on terror!! if you vote for kay bay, you vote for bin laden!!!" tie this albatross around her neck!

I think she also voted against the bill or maybe it was an amendment that basically said that government officials that testified before Congress had to tell the truth. So she's in favor of government officials lying and not being held accountable for that.

Talk about lowering the bar for this administration.
