I topped off my tank this morning at Shell. He said his supplies may last until this afternoon. He has been calling for refills and cannot get any so far.
But as George FUBAR Bush says, don't buy any gas you don't need. Ya. That's what I always do. D'OY!
I don't start wars I don't need, that's for damn sure.

But it doesn't seem to be a problem everywhere. I was just able to fill up near work.

Why wouldn't it start with the gulf states? We've got ours filled but we aren't going to be driving this weekend and we will be attempting to use public transit as much as possible. We all should.

Stations are open, but many/most of their pumps are individually bagged. I was lucky to find reg. unleaded at one station. Two pumps working out of sixteen. No gas available. Price went up 70 cents or so in little more than a day - up 24 cents from lunchtime yesterday to evening. Same station.
