Disgusted & pissed with my repuke representatives!!

So I wrote them the following:

For quite some time now I have suspected that the Republican Party under George W. Bush cared little for the average American. This week those feelings have been confirmed without a doubt in my mind. I have never felt so much disgust in my life for short-sighted, inept government policies and leaders with a history of rewarding the rich and powerful at the expense of protecting ordinary Americans. As the foundations and infrastructure for protection were slowly whittled away in the name of "tax relief" and "smaller government", the perfect storm has arrived and we look like a Third World country.

I look forward to your active involvement in the reform of your party.

i didn't keep what I wrote... it was really nice and said please don't rest until everyone is accounted for and rebuilding and relief are well underway...


BUT, I called Lamar Smith's office and although I was calm..I couldn't help but tell the girl on the phone that I demanded that he get off his ASS..and I used that word 2-3 times calmly.... and do something about rescue and relief.

3. I wasn't so nice.

I wrote the 2 Kays via congress.org but did not save the text. I asked them and the Republican Party to stop kissing bush butt and start taking care of our NO neighbors - get food, water and medical supplies to them now. Not my exact words, but you get the basic tone.

I had to tone it down from what I really wanted to say. But I thought in the interest of my message getting across, I didn't want to sound (to them) like a stark raving mad lefty.
