New shelter opening in Texas City. |
|
Guess where I'll be this weekend?!
from my boss's email: A volunteer from the American Red Cross just called stating that Moody Methodist is now full and a second shelter is being opened at the 1st Baptist Church in Texas City. The phone number for that church is 409-945-2309. They are still setting up but will be opened by 4:00 pm.

1. Good for refinery workers |
|
Not exactly the garden spot of the state, but for displaced refinery workers, I'm sure that they can put them to work right away.

3. Have a great one Lisa0825 and thank you |

We'll be doing what we can here too. We all have to step up and do a little more. We have big generous hearts in Texas. Let's take good care of our displaced brothers and sisters victimized by the flooding.

4. Lisa, some Friends and I have been discussing... |

staging a benefit. If it goes through that sounds like an ideal place to donate it! Is that the big Baptist Church on Palmer?
