The youngest son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was arrested in downtown Austin early today on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest, officials said.

John Ellis Bush, 21, was taken into custody around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Trinity and Sixth streets near the downtown entertainment district. He was released around 10:30 a.m. today on a personal recognizance bond. Bail had been set at $2,500.

An affidavit on the public intoxication charge was not immediately available; according to an affidavit for the resisting arrest charge, Bush continually pushed against an officer for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as the officer attempted to handcuff him.

Another drunk member of BFEE in Austin! I guess it's a family tradition. Some of that irresponsible trait.:evilgrin:

it is a matter of public record that NOELLE has been arrested and was sent to a drug program rather than face jail time.

now JEBBIE has a public record (which he had before, while a teenager, for humping someone in the nude. in his car, in a Tallahassee parking lot).

and GEORGE P. well... he vandalized a girl friend's home when he was a teenager because she broke up with him...(smell domestic violence?)

6. Public Housing

I remember that the courts said it was OK to boot someone out of public housing if a member of the family was a druggie. Welllll, doesn't Jeb live in public housing?}( }(

I don't think a frat house is considered public housing. And besides that, this is the bushies we're speaking of, he's going to get off with community service like Jenna did. He'll work at some library and have his record wiped clean like his uncle George. The law doesn't apply to the bushies in the long run. In fact these cops will probably be reprimanded for arresting him in the first place.

However, Jebbie Jr, is actually at UT student so I'm sure he lives either at a frat house or a private residence.

On the plus side however, I think the public embarrassment of having another bu$h offspring prove criminal is entertaining.

All 3 of Jeb's kids have police records now as adults. Some of them had run-ins with the law as minors, but they are all adults now.

12. Speaking of paperwork what about the videotapes?

APD has had a requirement to videotape all arrests, something they fail to do most of the time. Wonder if this tape mysteriously disappears or just didn't happen like the Daniel Rocha tape.
