I got to speak w/one of the Killer D's!!
Rep. Richard Raymond, to be precise. I can tell you he is one smart, hard-working man. He is a strong supporter of the Webb County Domestic Violence Coalition (which is where I know him from) & he came & spoke w/a couple of us on Saturday during all the speeches. The topic turned to the events that led to the flight to Ardmore. After listening to him speak, all I can say is that if this man wants to run for higher office, I'll be right behind him!

dg

ps. the video that was playing on the bus that took them to ardmore was "catch me if you can." LOL

1. I love Richard Raymond!!
And you are so right DG, he is an incredibly smart and charming individual. I think he can win a state wide race. I would love to see this man be Governor. Unlike Tony Sanchez, this Democrat is real.

I loved seeing him outsmart Joe Crabb at the redistricting hearings in Austin. He was our lone fighter on that committee and he was returning that lob from their side with a hard slam. He wasn't the only Democrat, but he's the only one who was consistently there into the wee hours of the morning. And considering two other DINOs on the committee were Ron Wilson and Vilma Luna, you can see how I can say he was our lone defender. Kino Flores from Mission was also on the committee but he was on a conflicting committee that kept him away most of the hearings.

Governor Richard Raymond has a mighty nice ring to it. Go Richard Go!!

2. Richard Raymond is a good guy
He's hard working and doesn't seem to have any agenda except what's best for Texas.
