Why did Todd Baxter resign?
Here you have a guy who has been in office only 4 years. Young., only 36. Taken under the wing of Craddock as a potential leader. And then all of a sudden, he wants to spend more time with his family? And resigns? He didn't even stay long enough to get his $34,000/year in retirement pay. He only had 4 years left to go.

I just cant help but wonder if his connection to Tom DeLay and the $35,000 he recieved from TRMPAC has anything to do with his resignation. Or maybe he is just a puss.

Or maybe he wants to spend more time with his family before he is indicted along with Tom DeLay!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Looked it up. It was his second term. I think it was the DeLay money.
That was going to do him great harm with a win of only 147 votes last year.

5. The word is he has legitimate family issues.
I personally really like the TRMPAC angle, though. I live in TX-48 and am working on his opponent's campaign but no one apparently knows the truth (yet).
