Things are looking up for Morrison. This race is not in my district, but it is as important to me as the Pres. race. Texas DUers - unite to help Morrison in his bid to oust DeLay. Give what you can afford.

4. We've been giving him $ for months...

but I talked to my mom too the other night and told her where to direct her former Howard Dean donations.

Since she's leery of giving over the internet, I gave her Richard's campaign HQ address so she can send him cold hard cash. Well, okay. Checks.

At first she just shot me down with "He's not in my district," but then I told her how his campaign has taken off, DeLay's ratings were dropping every day, and candidates ALL need money.

Now shes really excited to find another candidate for whom she can do some serious good.

8. I contributed at the convention

My buddy gave him about fifty bucks, but I couldn't give that much. Still, they gave me a buttload of magnets and pins. I've put in a request to the campaign to let me know what I can do up here in Dallas to help.

And he is a good candidate. This race is still a bit of a long shot, but that shot is getting smaller every day.
