Robert Ricketts to challenge Randy Neugebauer...
The Democratic Texas Tech economics department head will be challenging incumbent Republican Randy Neugebauer here in Lubbock. He's on the ballot, and a big believer in fiscal responsibility, immigration reform, protection of working people and honest politics. He's a newcomer who has never held elected office before, but he's running against Neugebauer, who is certainly touched by Tom Delay's woes, having recieved a "safe" seat from Delay, money from his PACs and with a 94% identical voting record. Neugebauer has also voted to give the president authority to torture, which may or may not be a weak spot in West Texas.

Wish us luck, and send money to RobertRicketts.com.

2. Congratulations!
The best to Robert Ricketts too. Have him get a DU account. Having the candidates make a personal plea helps. Tell him we're Democrat friendly.
