Carole FourFaces reinvents herself again
What's her name? What's her party? She flip-flops again on education. Jeez, she's just handing out the ammo to Goodhair.

Dallas Morning News: State teachers association endorses Strayhorn
...while Mrs. Strayhorn is a former teacher and school board member, she also has opposed the union on several issues, siding with most Republican leaders in favoring school vouchers and a merit-pay system for teachers.

But those stances were gone Tuesday.

"Vouchers are off the table," she said.

1. The original triangulator!
She could give Hillary lessons on aligning oneself with the polls.

2. Democrats can save some primary $$$s
now by not bothering to focus on teachers for votes. Besides, looks like they don't look at the record anyway.

Of course, I'm assuming that this means that teachers are advocating not excerising their franchise and voting in the primaries, so they can stay pure and sign her petitions.

3. Her flipflops are monumental.
I'm a Democrat; I'm a Republican; I'm a Republican running as an independent.

Texas has a fantastic surplus thanks to Gov. Bush -- elect him president!
Oops, Texas is in deep financial doo-doo. Screw Perry!

Who supports this person? I realize most politicians are opportunists but she is so blatantly obvious about it!

4. News Flash
Carol Keeton Rylander McClellan Strayhorn (she deserves every last name she's spent so much time accumulating) has just been named spokeswoman for White-Out.

6. Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn
if you want to get the order correct. But you spelled Rylander correctly -- I came up with "Reinhart" the last time I tried to list them all. ;)

Strahorn for governor?
Strayhorn misspells name on candidacy form
By W. Gardner Selby
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF
Wednesday, January 11, 2006

Carole Keeton Strayhorn, the onetime schoolteacher hoping to oust Gov. Rick Perry in November, misspelled her last name, leaving out the Y, in her declaration of intent to run as an independent for governor.

In two parts of the one-page form, filed last week, her last name is spelled Strahorn, the Texas Secretary of State's office said today.

"Our office cannot recall a situation when a candidate misspelled their name on the top portion of the form and the affidavit itself, so we are currently looking into the situation," said Scott Haywood, spokesman for the agency, which oversees state elections.

Haywood said Strayhorn's campaign would be told of the error, which was brought to his attention by a reporter this morning.

Strayhorn's campaign manager, Brad McClellan, chuckled — even before being asked if Strayhorn might earmark campaign dollars to buy back a vowel. McClellan said Strayhorn "is a candidate for governor. We're going to get to the bottom of this 'y' mystery."

12. That name is a skeleton in her closet
I bet she doesn't want to be linked with that lying mouthpiece in the White House.
