Keep Austin Blue with Bob Gammage and Donna Howard

Keep Austin Blue kicks off 2006 this Wednesday January 25 by welcoming Bob Gammage, candidate for governor, and Donna Howard, candidate for House District 48. We meet at Mother Egan's, 715 West Sixth Street starting around 6:30 for people to socialize; speakers start around 7:15. If you haven't been to Mother Egan's for a while, the deck is now covered and semi-enclosed and heated, so you should be comfortable whatever the weather.

Bob needs to get out there with that message, that Carole is at a least a decade late to the people's defense. I'm going to be very late and probably miss him.

7. I got there at the end

I had some lobby training I had to go to. It was packed and Gammage was closing up his speech about then. He got a standing ovation. Pretty fired up crowd.

Hope you kid feels better. A lot of that flu bug going around. I've had it too.
