Paul Bremer, the former U.S. proconsul in Iraq, will be speaking to the Houston World Affairs Council in the Westin Oaks Hotel on Thursday, January 26. A spirited protest against Bremer and the war will be held from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. The street address is 5011 Westheimer—the same location as the demonstration against Cheney and DeLay in December.
