A Plea for Campaign Money: Kick the GOP in the crotch...

With Skinner's permission, I am posting this plea for money to help my friend Robert Ricketts in his bid to unseat incumbent corrupt Randy Neugebauer in the 19th District of Texas. For information on the issues and how to donate, go to: www.robertricketts.com

The long and the short of it is that way out in West Texas they consider this a "safe" Republican seat. Because they thought it was safe, Randy felt free to take money from Abramoff, Delay and a local crook who embezzled 70+ million out of some energy co. investors. Neugebauer is now more vulnerable than he realizes, and Robert is a strong candidate who gets very positive reactions whenever he speaks.

At the very least you will have the satisfaction of knowing that for every dollar you spend here, the Republicans will spend five.

You may want to start by giving us some of your reasons for supporting Robert Ricketts. Lots of good people are running and you'll have a better chance of getting some of those scarce dollars by telling us about Robert, or heck even encourage Robert to post something here himself. DU has been known to send money to candidates who post their request personally. Gary Page for example posted a plea for help with his filing fee and some of us helped him make that goal. Gary Page is a DU member now running against Kenny Marchant for U.S. Representative, District 24.
