It seems that the state has initiated a travelling show to make people comfortable with electronic voting machines. Their web site has a schedule of where they will be and when. Maybe they need to be asked some hard questions.

Perhaps we need some ideas of what to do and say if you decide to visit it.
First, visit when there are lots of people to HEAR your questions and comments.
Some questions to ask; the cost of this system to the taxpayer. You need lots of these machines, as each voter has to use one. With a paper reader, you only need one to service the whole precinct.
How is the software code reviewed and by whom. Who is involved in sealing the machine after certification?
How are the votes transferred to processing systems? who certifies the processing systems?
Now it is likely, that they will eventually figure out some BS to respond with, so the last thing that should be stated in your outdoor voice is this.
The right to vote is the most important right we have. There is nothing we have that is more important than that. The voting process should be THOROUGH, NOT EFFICIENT. The voting process is the ONE item that should never be made efficient (and hence succeptible to manipulation)
