3. Check out the press coverage he got:

The Paris News:

“Let me be blunt about it,” David Van Os, the Democratic candidate for Texas attorney general, said Wednesday from the steps of Culbertson Fountain in downtown Paris.

“I am doing what I am doing because I am mad as hell about what has happened and is happening to my government as a Texan,” the candidate said to a small gathering during what he termed a “whistle stop tour" through Northeast Texas. He said he plans to visit every county in Texas by October.

“Our government today in Austin, just like in Washington, is being run through cronyism and corruption and through people who sit in public office for the purpose of taking care of themselves and their cronies,” he said.

David shared some anecdotes with me on these whistlestops he's made the last few weeks; how he got mistaken for Kinky in Brownwood, comments and feedback from various elected officals -- county judges, county commisssioners and the like -- who agreed with him about the tyranny and fascism we're living under, and lot, lot more. He had crowds of thritry people at some stops, in towns of 15,000 in the middle of the workday.

Apparently East Texas is populated by radical leftists. That, or they know BS when they hear it just like us.

The revolution won't be televised, people, but it will be reported in the small-town newspapers and on their radio programs. Even before it happens.

4. And then the Burnt Orange Report
http://www.burntorangereport.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=610
I heard David in Mt. Pleasant (0.00 / 0)
David gave the most impassioned speech I have heard in a long time Thursday night.

He stayed and answered questions and spoke individually with those who stayed late.

David will take the actions that few people would dare to take in order to bring accountability back to our State and federal government.

The office of AG is unique in that he can individually begin investigations and make pronouncements that have the effect of law without having to water down his position due to political necessity.

David has a pair that would make Stephen Colbert proud, if Stephen had a pair large enough to praise a democrat (I understand Colbert's satire btw.)
