So I ask all of you, based on what you have seen and heard, how popular is Baby Bush in your part of Texas?

1. Nobody likes gas at $3 a gallon.

It's basically proof that the rich guys are stealing from the poor guys. And the people that work in those oil refineries, and the people that breathe the fumes coming out of those smokestacks, how do you think they like paying more for a gallon of gasoline than the people in Wyoming?

I'd say that across the board in Texas, he has the oil companies and the Fundies. Nothing else.

3. He was never very popular around here (Austin.)

But I am amazed at how often my math students (community college) will bring him or his policies up in a negative light during our various discussions. This class covered logic (fallacies,) financial formulas (the federal debt and income tax,) statistics (polling and hypothesis testing) -- to name a few -- and there were always examples of Bush's incompetence that fit right into these topics. And I wasn't the one making the comments!
